Dr Mike Anderson has some helpful tips on how to put your clear aligners in and take them out. Always make sure you wash your hands thoroughly before taking out and putting in your aligners.
When you put your aligners in, you’ll hear a snapping/clicking sound. This sound will let you know it is in the right position on your teeth.
When taking out your aligners always do it very slowly and very carefully. Start at the back and gently pull the aligner off your teeth making your way to the front. Doing it this way will avoid breaking or damaging the aligner.
Never pull the aligner from the front, as this may break or damage the aligner.
